The movie is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and produced by Marvel Studios. This is the eighth movie from Marvel cinematic universe and is the second part of Thor. Storyline
Faced with an enemy that even Asgard and Odin cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most personal and perilous journey yet, which unites Thor with Jane Foster and also force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. One year after the mysterious events of Avengers, Thor battles to save the nine Realms from an enemy even older than universe itself. A primeval race led by Malekith who is out for revenge, intends to plung the universe into darkness. Thor does saves universe or not is the rest of the events in Thor 2: The Dark World.
